Good, we don't need another gen full of shitmons like Shitnova and the good chunk of Legendaries means more actual useful Pokemon for the meta

I don't think that's gonna happen but it's not such a big deal, just plan your team

Yeah it's been like that since gen 5 and only gotten worse

I'm personally really not happy with Gen 8 so far.

The only good thing to come out of this so far is the Scottish MC memes; I'm honestly frightened by the hype and how if the game is shit (because we know it will do well) then this is going to likely be the PONR and it will just continue to decline forever.

Game Freak have been heavily declining in the quality of games recently imho and I'm not hyped at all for SwSh given how SuMo was pretty but ultimately a boring slog that couldn't hold my interest and I only completed because I don't like leaving a game unfinished (shiny hunting was interesting though). Go was boring and LG:P&E didn't interest me hardly at all; I actually stopped playing while trying to find a shiny Vulpix before Lt. Surge because Smash came out and I haven't touched it since. I'm not about to let myself be disappointed for a third time, so I'm keeping really low expectations for this gen.

If it's challenging, one of the starters becomes badass, and they bring back a competitive incentive to breed though, I'll never complain about Game Freak again. Gen IV truly was the pinnacle of the series.

I was they would just introduce a feature where a Pokemon can learn to perform an HM in the overworld without needing to take up a move slot. I'm sick of keeping an HM slave in slot 6 of my team.
