While you are riding you can only talk to it meaning searching for hidden items goes out the window entirely because you have to be right on top of it. Which will annoy even veteran players because while some items are in the same place as the past meaning you can go right up to them, they're not ALL in the same place.And no, the partner Pokémon replacing the item finder doesn't help either because the radius is only 45 degrees maybe. It's just as well to walk around if you're going to keep stopping to pay attention for the slight window it propvides.
Basically everything good Trash Go did better was overall done so terribly it doesn't overcome. Two steps forward 5 steps back in almost every instance.
