Do you think shinies/legendaries will ever have any worth again ever since injecting became a thing and the Switch is going to possibly have injecting too?

I thought maybe Gen 8+ onwards shinies and legends may be worth something cause there's no injecting for the Switch so far, but it's only a matter of time.
