>>37799168Yeah I remember being a little shit in 6th grade trading mons. It was so fucking hard to look at the screen in daylight. Most everyone was a charizardfag but i had blue and blastoise. Nobody had all the pokemon, few had beaten the elite four, most had gotten stuck or didnt know where to go so just walked around looking for mons, not understanding that the encounters on a route are fixed.
Those were the times, the peak. Everyone saw the movie, had trading cards which we just collected because nobody knew how to play. It was amazinh because before then all we had were those trashy pogs, with the slimy holographic worms, either made of plastic or metal. Actually that was a pretty cool game too. Had a big suitcase with them. But nothing came close to the insanity of pokemon red blue. Once gold and silver came out some of the magic vanished. It was still really good, but ho—oh and lugia just didnt pull in enough people to keep it going. TV series was amazing, everyone saw it getting up really early.
