DQ11 is a PS4 game.
There are much better looking game on PS4, and there are a lot of Switch games that could be used for comparison's sake instead if you really want to shit on Pokemon's graphics. DQ11 should never be used as an example for good graphics or overworld design.

DQ11S actually has the 3DS sprites as option confirmed.
It's the only reason I will consider the game because the 3D graphics look real shit. Toiryama is a hack who can't draw humans used for all human designs, monsters all have retarded faces and are way too round and that all clashes with the generic unity assets they used to create the world.

Pokemon should be aiming for a more anime-type style, focused more on being flat. They have it a decent amount on the pokemon but the trainer visuals still need work. /vp/ seems full of underages lately that seem to think realism = better and I cant fucking comprehend it. The textures should be flat, the shading should be cel-shading or an equivilant. It's pokemon, that's just common sense.
