Never got to play HGSS before, and I keep hearing it's the best Pokemon game, so I'm gonna start a new run on my R4.
/vp/, should I play HG or should I play SS? I want your opinions down to the most autistic of preferences. Also which starter should I start with? Not picking Meganium btw.

It's not like I avoided playing it. My sister broke my DS in half when I was younger, so the only gen 4 game I played was pearl. Just got a used DS lite at gamestop today so hey I'm trying

i'd say SS, personally. i prefer lugia to ho-oh as well as SS' exclusives (minus groudon). they're both really good games though, basically just pick whichever box legend you want first.
