It just seems like the illustration's leaving stuff out or was made before they finished the trailer, rather than being of a different scale. On the one picture of the town next to the yellow flowerbeds, there's a blank ground space that's about the size of the Pokemon Center. Ultimately I'm not that concerned about the map right now, this is more just because I've made a friend worried about it by accident. I'm just concerned for the designs, I'm assuming that it won't have any cool new bug type species we haven't seen represented in the series already judging from how GF has treated the last European region.
Also curious, is the map illustration made by Kawayoo again?
