This is not Gen 8, these are from a third-party Japanese exclusive arcade game. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's not made by Game Freak and gets posted here a lot for some reason. It's existed for over 2 years.

I mean, it seems like nearly every developer besides GameFreak that works on Pokemon to some degree puts more thought into things than the actual owners do.

I kinda wish Game Freak did one thing right with their lazy ass and just copy pasted the models and animations from this arcade game into Sword and Shield, the models in S/S are okay but I swear to god if we are back to floating Pokemons for no reason I'll be mad, easily the worst change from sprites to 3D models.
