We will always have context as to wiether SS is "Sword and Shield" or "Soul Silver". Unlike with Sapphire where you might, in a thread all about RSE, be able to call it "S" you will always have to type out "Sword" or "Shield"
I said I support SS as a general abbreviation, RGBY, GSC, RSE, FRLG, DPPt, HGSS, BW/2, XY, SM, U/SM, SS. If someone short hands it to "Sw" or "Sh" in the context of "I am doing a sw run" I am not going to be confused by what they mean. "SwSh" is not bad, just unnecessary when talking about the pair together.
