Theres plenty of threads speculating what pokemon we could get based on themes. People speculating based on folklore, what fossilemons could be etc.

Though at the end if the day we'll probably get under a dozen pokemon actually based on UK stuff and most eill be whatever GF wants.

Nuckaleeve would be a nice potential ghost, but I think it'd be more dark/fairy.
If they did grass/ghost again, a gallows tree would be interesting. A fighting/ghost would be interesting as well.
I'm also holding out some slim hope for a ghost eevee that might be the equivalent to a black dog

I can imagine the horse is the true pokemon and the armor is more like a second set of limbs the horse controls. I think it could be a really neat concept actually.

Not sure how they’d do a haunted armor ‘mon, best I can imagine is a Barbaracle situation where different organisms met and conjoined themselves into one, in this case a ghost possessed an individual piece of armor and then met with the other possessed pieces to assemble it

Definitely works, magneton is similar. The sandcastle ghost works on a similar principle where it gets more elaborate as it evolves so could be a case of like a floating gauntlet as the first form, 2nd has two gauntlets, and final is floating torso+head with the gauntlets
