you are a prodigious novice trainer
you face a npc group with little or no artificial intelligence
you face an evil organization that tries to use the power of a legendary pokemon
you beat an elite group of trainers to proclaim yourself as the champion
the postgame suck
you complain that each version is worse than the previous one, even so you buy the newest version and even its version 2.0 with new hat (USUM)
the cycle repeat
Honestly I see no excuses for not becoming an OW, most people play this game for their secondary tasks (Catch pokemon, win tournaments, raise pokemon) Nobody cares about its generic plot.
