You know with the pink spiny appearance of Shield I can actually see that. It looks pretty sinister. Plus Excalibur is usually portrayed as blue and gold because good guy colors. That or Romulus and Remus because Wolf Twins.

Also the Sinnoh legendaries are based on Shinto, so they fit their region pretty well, like Johto.

Unless it was confirmed, another possible theory for XYZ legends are Artemis' Cerynerian Hind, Apollo's Ravens, and of course the Python or Dragon of Delphi.

Nonetheless, I'm surprised not many are saying Black Shuck and the Cu Sithe. It may make too much sense, but GF did say they want to change things up more.
