We all know that there are some pokemon that are quite popular umong furries and I have the theory that they where designed that way and how it fits into the lore.

First of mega stones are usually found in areas that fit to the specific pokemon. And the mega stones for lucario, lopunny and gardevoir are all found in cities usually given to you or won in tournaments almost like their natural environments are by humans.

And second I belive Lopunny and Lucario are unnatural evolutions. Both of those pokemon need friendship to evolve which is common for baby pokemons but not for base forms and they also can't be found in the wild in their evolved forms.

So my theory is that just like eevees evolve to fit their environment some humanoid pokemon evolve that way to fit more into human society and maybe be more attractive to the trainer.
