anyone totally not into this game at all if they design it the same way as sun and moon? I am so fucking tired of the boring pokemon formula right now, I guarantee the only people that really liked let's go pokemon eevee were people who either are pokemon youtubers and are rabidly obsessed, or 30 year old boomers who haven't played since red and blue and are like "woah my childhood in 3D, so awesome!" I can't wait for sword and shield to be a 10 hour tutorial with another rival who isn't a rival, gym leaders who have 3 pokemon, the generic trainer teams every game has. and I bet they wont bring back hard mode, or the trainer re-battling system from some of the DS games. there's so many mechanics to deeply get into in pokemon and all of them are useless outside of competitive battles, which mostly take place on showdown. and the writing will continue to be awful, I bet this game will also run like garbage. i'm so done
