planning to speedrun through emerald and platinum – not for competitive record breaking purposes but a personal play to reach juicy parts of the game quickly. in the past i would regularly run through FRLG to reach mewtwo and sevii island asap using the method of blasting through with Blastoise for most of the game

>Dugtrio (for Surge)
>Snorlax (can switch in and heal main mons)
>Lapras (optional, same as Snorlax)
>Zapdos (helps in E4)

this was super simple and straightforward to follow, allowing me to get through as fast as possible while meandering off here and there to enjoy certain areas as i pleased. all the guides and strategies i'm looking at for E and P are full of RNG bullshit –i do not want to fiddle around with any RNG manipulation crap at all, i just want to blast through in a streamlined manner.

TLDR can any anon suggest teams / strategies free from RNG manipulation for emerald and platinum?
