Ash-Greninja's Battle Bond now doesn't require a KO to change forme and instead acts like a Mega, without taking the mega slot by tapping "Batte Bond" on the menu.

It would need to be able to run protean into battle bond for easier transformation. That stat spread and movepool is easily ubers level, the only things holding it back too hard would be the primals and bulky arceus types.
It could carve a niche.

Probably this. The fact that it needs a kill before it can access its form is probably the biggest thing holding it back from going to ubers.
