>>37835522Keckleon's is more of an optical illusion than minimalist chameleon eyes, though I agree they are aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately those eyes wouldn't really work with sobbles case, the little welling tears pattern on the side of the eyes are an essential part of the design, and it wouldn't mesh well with the pattern surrounding Keckleon's eyes, and without the pattern you can't really achieve a nice looking optical illusion of the chameleon eyes.
But hey, in exchange we get proper grabby hands which IMO is even more important to the Chameleon aesthetic than even the eyes even if it isn't the most front and center one. Like I can't really picture Keckleon slowly and carefully climbing a tree branch.
