>>37842607The anime of course. The way that the Pokemon world and all of its mechanics work is very fluid-like, changing according to the environment and characters. I don't know how many times shit happened in the anime that would never ever happen in the games.
The games are, of course, unchanging. Once you've mastered all of the mechanics of a certain game, you don't have to think as much to stay on top of it.
Of course, the games make up for this by actually letting you play it.
