why the fuck do people care so much about pointless shit like outfits or following pokemon? It literally has 0 affect on the gameplay.

They're a waste of time for both the developers and players.

I can understand wanting roaming Pokemon, it a new encounter mechanic.

I can understand wanting riding pokemon, it opens up new field moves.

I can understand better graphics, it's more appealing to look at.

But I don't give a shit what my character is wearing, or if there's a stupid character following me around.
