This Pokémon cries solid metal teardrops when feeling emotional. These tears are unique in composition and can be found in riverbeds in Galar where Sombore live. When attacked, Sombore will cower behind its curled-up tail before disappearing with camouflage.
BASTEELEON (bastion/steel/chameleon)
Basteeleon use their incredibly tough, plated tails as shields to protect small and weak Pokémon, while fighting back with a long, heavy tongue. They are known to stubbornly keep up a defense for days on end, refusing to give up on whatever they have decided to protect. Imagery of Basteeleon from long, long ago has been found in Galar, used to represent the strongest of knights and fortresses.
