I don't want money being removed from my accounts without my express permission when it goes out. Companies don't deserve the trust that they won't take whatever the fuck they want. It's not like most people aren't idiots who probably won't notice having been ripped off.

In fact, it's worse with the Switch because you CAN buy them multiple times but it will eat any time remaining on your last one. Oh, you had 362 days left? Not anymore, now you've purchased 2 years but get 1 year and 3 days.

That's not true at all. Car payments can easily be that much, but I own my car and it's not costing me $300 a month total. Insurance is like $100, gas is like $60, and I change the oil every 5k which is about $60 once every 9 months or so. If it broke every month costing $300 to fix I would not own that car anymore, but it doesn't.
