I cannot reveal much but I try to give you some idea of what's happening at GF. My friend is outsourced there. (I'm not from Japan, but he is).
I will go straight to the point:
> the games are rushed, but it was planned before Let's Go series
> the games will probably be finished before release since there are tons of people from outsourced (don t know the actual term in english) people working on it
> there wont be any quality problems once the games are released
> there is a lot of debate/turmoil because of a pokemon that is a humanoid pelican that is generating divided views among developers, from what i know it is not legendary not linked to starters its just a (filler) pokemon
> other than that there is nothing big surprise
> sadly i dont know much more, there are rumors about some pokemon but i dont know nothing exactly or and cannot reveal true information, the only thing i can say is that starters arent finished yet
