I have to see more, and perhaps even the first half hour of gameplay. If you can get a starter WITHOUT being dragged all over the place and through several cutscenes first then I'll give the games a chance. Starting with the Bunny, and buying both versions IF the above is true. The one I'll be playing is the one that my underage sibling doesn't pick.

Gotta wait for the cover legendary at least for version, but probably shield, I like Red more than Blue.

As for starter, probably Sobble, his evolutions have the most potential imo. Scorbunny and Grookey seem pretty easy to see what they'd be like, but Sobble could be almost anything.

Choosing a version on its name alone is ridiculous and full-on stupidity. You don’t know the version exclusives/story/etc so choosing one is pointless until we get more info. Unless your toxic masculinity forces you to choose Sword then fuk do whatever you want

RN it's Scorbunny 100%. It's a rabbit and I have a long history love for rabbits. (Needless to say but between Watership down remake, Bunny race coming to FF14 and this ... it's been a good year for the bunny fan in me)

We know pretty much nothing about version differences yet so I have absolutely no preference between games, but for starters I like Sobble the most. The other two have mad potential for their evos though so my choice there isn’t solidified yet either.
