Watching the trailer for the first time I was ambivalent, borderline hostile towards Sword and Shield.
But after rewatching it repeatedly, it started to grow on me and my gradually grew.
I really want Gen 8 to be everything they promised us, even with the 3DS and LGPE era being utter shit.
I think it's time to accept Pokemon for what it is, and not the fanficion riddled headcanon messes we think it should be.
