There were a lot of similarly timed events that we can use as a basis though:
>First batch of starter mon came out 4-5 months after announcement>First introduced to Major human characters 6 months after announcement>Introduced to evil team 6-7 months after announcement (Team Skull was 6 months while Aether Foundation was 7 months)>Second stage of starters 1 month before the games releasedThey could spread things out a lot more this time though.
