>>37884834Platinum wins so far, B2 looks alright too because of the white on black contrast working better than W2, adding EXP was an alright choice too, however the previous gens did well putting the Pokemon name inside the bar in my opinion, the only con was that the bar was transparent and basically consumed more screen.
XY and ORAS look like ugly downgrades with overlayered bars and numbers clashing together honestly, SM and that generally poorly perceived scribble, USUM for some reason reverse mirroring the general trend of the bars too, can't say much about Gen1, Gen2, screen limits etc, Gen 3 HP bar did alright and also looked clean. HGSS bar was also kind of downgrade, should have been either gold with silver text or the opposite, or something more neutral but more aesthetic and focusing on Johto traditional Japan vibes. I don't like the "shadow" darker grey tone on the bottom being there just to be cut by the HP number lighter minibox.
