In the Let's Go games, Teleport was one of a handful of moves that received alterations: it is now a negative priority dry baton pass of sorts. Guaranteed Taunt-bait, but it allows the user to escape trapping effects while delivering a 100% safe switch in.
I am looking forward to this change in Gen 8, if indeed it carries over. I rely a lot on Claydol setting up Trick Room, Gravity, and screens, and it is one of the handful of mons blessed with this move. At the same time the changes make this sort of setup more feasible in a singles format.
Now if Gamefreak has decided to revamp some old moves, what changes would you want to see? Do you even like the change to Teleport? Or do you doubt this significant change will carry over to the mainline games?
I think a lot of the charging/cooldown moves need to be reformed a bit. Alongside old moves that haven't been touched in a long time, like Submission.
