He's not untalented. I'm just not fond of his style and would prefer it if he never worked on a Pokemon game ever again. Only the Golett & Poipole lines are okay and even then, I certainly wouldn't miss them. He's certainly not the only one making bad Pokemon designs these days, he's just consistently the worst.

Late in BW's development, Gamefreak realized they fucked up and there only two normal Ice type families (Cryogonal and Beartic). So someone went to Turner and asked him to whip up an Ice type Pokemon. The result was ice cream.
