Nah dawg this is pretty aight. I'd just say to make the face a bit wider and body a little thinner and you're closer to true Pokemon style.

Try taking inspiration from the Cofagrigus line see what they did there.

I like it a lot!
If you want you can make it bigger (larger legs + sturdy torso) so it looks more like a proper evolution. Unless you were aiming for this exact look.

Well, if you want them to look authentic for new gens, you have to give them GIANT heads and make each body part look like a plastic part on a toy. Try to keep it as flat as possible. Don't think of eyes and ears as body parts, think of them as stickers.

I tried to fix your design but the whole thing probably needs to be redone from scratch. Don't think of it as a cat, think of it as a plastic toy or a plushie. It needs to be something easily drawn by a child, too. Include as few details as possible and only use simple shapes.

I'd argue theres no definitive "Pokemon Look." Look at the recent Gen 8 starters and Meltan. Each look like DeviantArt-tier.
But the only reason we think designs "looks official" is because it's associated with Pokemon logo when we first see it.

Almost any Fakemon can look official if it was drawn in the proper Sugimori style with the Pokemon logo pasted somewhere.

The biggest issue is that it needs to look polished to pass as official art. Though your concept is good the line art + pose isn't the best so it doesn't pass. The biggest giveaway for a fakemon to me is craftsmanship.

Def think keeping the bottom jaw black is the way to go. Breaks up the golds of the mask bringing the eye more to the face and kinda brings the design together.

Looks good, anon, but there's a bit of a problem.

You mentioned copying the eyes off of Cofagrigus, and... honestly, desu, you copied more than just the eyes. You copied everything from color scheme to general theme. (A black and gold Ghost-type Egyptian-style mummy with red eyes.)

That's the biggest problem here- it copies too much. You need to set it apart from Cofagrigus in some way.

Other than that, 8/10 cute mummycat, would train.
