It was a nice idea, but it was too slow. It took too long to rack up points.

I'd like to see it revisited, but with a better selection of items, and everything's randomized. Like, you can get a Hyper Potion, or you an get an item to inflict a status condition on your opponent. Just let shit go wild.

The Wonder Launcher
It was used in a multiplayer battle mode in Gen 5 to use items. You'd get a point each turn and could redeem them to use an item such as potions. Better items tended to cost more points.
