What do you think about having a Legendary Quartet based on the Four Gods that are guardians for a China-based region ala the Tapus for the Alola region?

From clockwise:
Xuan Wu - Water/Ice
Qinglong - Grass/Dragon
Zhu Que - Fire/Flying
Bai Hu - Steel/??? (Need help with a typing that fits its Autumn motif)

It's a solid idea but the designs could use some work. For starters the turtle looks like a hippo. Don't really get why you made the tiger a lion though. I don't think we really need another lion legendary. I'd also maybe just abstract them a bit more - rather than hybridizing animals make them an approximation of the animal they're meant to represent. There are some legendaries that are just straight up one particular creature but for the most part they're not super clear like in the case of Yveltal, Kyogre, Groudon, etc. Zygarde in particular comes to mind - yes it's a snake but it would be selling it short to call it simply a snake, it's an idea of a snake but so much more than simply that without simply throwing in aspects of other creatures. Think about their basic shapes and features and see where you can go from there. Like maybe think of the tiger simply as, a hulking white metal quadruped defined by stripes. Where can you go with that as a concept? Maybe it doesn't need eyes. Maybe it has box cutters for claws. Who can say.
