Anyone else vowing not to watch any trailers or read any information until launch?
Is it possible to view the legendaries for the first time on the box art when you buy it?
Any of you done this before?

Yep, did it with Gen 6 and 7 until I could play them, had some minor spoilers though.

Basically stay away from /vp/ and other pokemon related media.

I’d say no. Maybe back in the day before Facebook and YouTube, you can go in pretty spoiler free but guarantee your gonna see a shared post or thumbnail of the box legendaries, or starter evos once that info is OFFICIALLY released.

The only time I manage to do this was during XY, and it was because I was pretending that I had outgrow pokemon... them the game release I got desperate to play them and because in the time citra was trash, I went out, got a job and buy it.

Unless you’re willing to abandon the internet and all social media entirely for the next 8 months you’ll get spoiled. It’s impossible for me - I’m friends with several Pokémon fans and follow a lot of accounts/channels/pages which post Pokemon shit, whether it’s FB, Insta, Twitter, YouTube, or what have you.
