Gen 7 was just "Kanto Kanto Kanto" and all it did was encourage the "anything after gen 1 is shit and your a fucking idiot for thinking otherwise" mentality. And I doubt that GF will ever stop now. They're making a fuck ton of money now, so pokemon will forever be shit.
Sword and Shield is their last chance for me. If they can prove that they actually care about pokemon and want the franchise to evolve and get better, then I will gladly support it. If we get another gen 7, then that's it. Pokemon is dead. Taken over by a bunch of self-absorbed 90's kids and will further become a zombified husk of its former self.
