>>37914240You don't understand how tiering works. Pokemon only move up to a higher tier when they get enough usage *in that higher tier*. It doesn't matter how much Lando gets used in OU. Further, you can't move to Ubers by usage, because Ubers is a banlist and not a full tier. Things can be banned from Ubers since they try to keep it playable, but you can't move up or down from Ubers by usage. You wouldn't want this anyways, since it would result in mons like Smeargle and Excadrill moving to Ubers.
>It's hypocritical as fuck.No it's not? Lando isn't receiving any special treatment here, in fact its usage isn't even exceptional:
> | 1 | Landorus-Therian | 44.63355% | 960366 | 29.754% | 826115 | 33.292% | > | 1 | Scizor | 43.50041% | 117953 | 27.423% | 95795 | 27.880% | > | 1 | Blastoise-Mega | 34.47325% | 59673 | 30.055% | 48520 | 30.853% | >| 1 | Incineroar | 36.74067% | 35708 | 28.593% | 30263 | 30.060% | > | 1 | Mesprit | 42.37744% | 39614 | 23.254% | 33358 | 24.635% | Every major Singles tier has a mon with comparable usage. This isn't a problem because 'used a lot' doesn't mean 'overpowered', which is the only reason something should be banned.
