I have only ever used Snivy because I just can't get into the other two. Many started and aborted runs. What do you think, /vp/? are any of them worth using?

If you play Black or White 1, Samurott is probably the best water-type available to you in the entire game.
Not that, like, it's hard or anything, but you can look at it that way.

Snivy is decent in BW2 with Coil/Return/Leaf Blade and Aqua Tail from the move tutor.
It's pretty rough in the beginning though.

Oshawott is decent all around. Does what you'd expect out of a water type.

It may be the combination of leak season on /tr/ and my opinion of Pokemon when gen 5 came out, but I really like all three.

Emboar is really fun. It has a solid and varied movepool, Flame Charge can make it a killing machine, and it dances in Musicals like a champ.

Snivy is shit for musicals, it has very few attachable locations.
Personally, I think Krookodile is one of the best pokemon for musicals, though Palkia looks pretty spot-on if you dress it as a pirate. Not very versatile, though.

Already playing through White with Wottter. Not particularly fond of the other two, so dubs decides a starter to use for White 2.

Box and use a Stoutland. Decent stats all around and its cry in Gen 5 is an absolute delight. Normal/Dark/Fighting (Superpower via Move Tutor) coverage is nothing to scoff at.
Catch Lillipup with Vital Spirit for Intimidate later on.

Tepig line - very straight-forward glass cannons, with surprisingly decent movepool. Except for fucking Arm Thrust, fuck that move. You're better off breeding one, or using a sp. atk nature.

Oshawott line - vanilla Water types through and through. If you don't usually pick the Water starter this is the perfect opportunity, because there aren't too many good Water types in early BW.

Snivy line - damn sexy snake and also good team pivot, but you already knew that.
