Is this the only time Gamefreak tried to go back to the more monstrous designs of Gen 1? Didn't really work out either way, Golisopod still looks way too much like a toy than a living being and it lacks the ambiguity that makes a design iconic, it's just "giant bipedal cartoon isopod with a vague samurai thematic". Still there was an attempt here, shame don't try anymore.
