I don't care about the metagame. I think Alola had a pretty good selection of legendaries, despite having concepts as dissonant as tribal island protectors, a genetic experiment, and straight up aliens, the clash feels appropriate. Unfortunately the mythicals don't make as much sense. Marshadow is great, and should have been the one you can get in-game instead of Magearna, who along with Zeraora, is obviously just some design they thought was cool and tossed in for the hell of it. Magearna making more sense in Galar stings almost as much as having musketeers in America the generation before they did France.
