What other types need Stealth Rock-tier nerf?
I'd go for Psychic, Water and Steel who should get crippling field hazards.

FWGE because people can't come up with their own type cores and almost always default to the generic fire/water/grass core.
Steel/Fairy/Dragon because it's the main core for competitive battling.

It would still be the best move in the game. The power of SR is that it's free chip damage on every single pokemon (outside of Magic Guard mons). This is something that bad players don't seem to understand, like that Charizard nigger ITT.

well. t.spikes already do "type damage" in a sense, steel are unaffected and poison types eat them upon entry. regular spikes hit everything for set damage unless they fly or levitate since the move is ground type, so there's that. rocks hit for extra damage if you're weak to it, but admittedly by way too much.

anyway, 12.5 to 25 for a single weakness isn't the worst thing in the world, but 25 to 50 hurts. lower the multipliers all around to make it do less damage to those weak and more to those who resist. 35% max health top end and like 9.5 low end or some such.

There's only 3 OU dragons, Garchomp, MegaCharX, and Black Kyurem.
Not a single top 8 WCS18 team had a dragon, in fact they're not among most used mon in VGC overall last year- not even Naganadel, but they do have Tapus in every team.

Nerf water types and no one will be playing grasses anymore since they have piss poor coverage and are weak to almost half of the types in the game.

Wrong, evasion adds a luck factor to the game, Hazard control adds a layer of skill that forces both players to play around them, weighting their options in both team building and when creating/repelling pressure.

Stall is arguably the most vulnerable to hazards of any playstyle. It’s the most switch heavy playstyle, as you constantly need to switch in Pokémon capable of taking hits from the opposing attacker. SR (and by extension other hazards) punishes switches by damaging them on entry.
