Owlfags are probably one of the most entertaining things to come out of Gen 7. First with the whole Roothoot debacle, then after that the constant grasping at the tiniest straws for their owl to remain relevant. And they were cucked at every turn. I wonder who this gen's owlfags will be?

I really will miss owlposting though. I still remember the day the Dream Poll dropped and less than twenty-four hours later the episode debuting the FE starters appeared with Incineroar lierally slamming Decidueye into irrelevancy. Owlfags collapsed as a serious force that day.

It's kind of surprising this game was as unpopular as it was, but in retrospect, it makes sense. There's practically no overlap between the casuals who make up most of the Pokemon audience and the people who like fighting games. It was very fun for the people who got it, though.

Also, fuck Chandelure.

I would like it way more if it was completely 2d.
There's some nice touches in tge game, and I think the roster is a decent mix of popular and niche mons.

No can do bucko. Capcom hasn't made sprites in ages and ArcSys has a giant queue of (insert anime here) game to make. The closest we can get is for Pokken 2 to try a cel-shaded approach.

Rowlet and Decidueye are the most popular Pokemon in gen 7. Decidueye got into Pokken which means it was the first gen 7 Pokemon to get into a 3D fighting game not to mention the first gen 7 Pokemon on the switch. Decidueye's major appearance in the anime hasn't happened yet so I can't speak for the anime as of now. And no those two seconds of screen time doesn t count

There’s an option to turn off Nia entirely. I believe you can find it in the options on the mode select if ky foggy Wii U memory is right.
JP Nia is actually tolerable.

They had a good and hype tourney today. If you like the game then worth a watch.
It was 1v1 format but the official pokemon tour uses a 3v3 format this year.

The game needed more money esports push to keep the momentum going. It had great entrants numbers at evo and has a very passionate community that really raises the roof when they meet at tourneys.

Fill out the Gen 1 and 3 starter sets, give Incineroar an obvious inclusion+new mascot status, Conkeldurr as a rival to Machamp, and Salamence as a personal fave and needed quadruped mon.

I think Mawile would be cool.
Pokken is full of Pokemon of the cool type so I feel like some Pokefans would still be hesitant towards the game and view it as "that game my big brother plays" if there's only 2 waifu 'mons.
