Can Pokemon be counted as Kaiju? They're monsters, right? And there's sometimes human sized friendly kaiju, like Booska, Pigmon, Kanegon and Pettonton.

Kaiju is literally Japanese for giant monster. Maybe if you had watched Pacific Rim like a decent human being you would know this.

I thought the second one was a nice action romp even if it wasn't nearly as good as the first. You gotta admit, that fused Kaiju at the end was wicked.

No. Kaiju means "strange creature" DAIkaiju means large strange creature. The "dai" signifies that it's giant. Very important distinction. A kaiju can come in any size and Pokemon are technically kaiju.
