They do. There's no way to manipulate the IVs and Shiny like the actual game, and there's no hacking. They're a lot more valuable than any other Pokemon games.

The non-CD one's anyway. CD ones are garbage they give out.

I have an Altaria, Roserade, and Butterfree I caught at random, I think the shinies are easier to find in GO, definitely doesn't feel like the same chances of a main game
