>>37935278Let’s Go Johto should release in 2021. 2021 is the franchise’s 25th anniversary and releasing Let’s Go Johto would give GF an excuse to celbreate the original 151 again and pander to the causal audience. Also, Gen 2 originally released 3 years after Gen 1. So, it would make sense that Let’s Go Johto would release 3 years after Let’s Go Kanto and not 2 years. Also, from a development standpoint, it still wouldn’t make any sense to rush out Let’s Go 2. Let’s Go Kanto took 2 years to develop and released in the later half of 2018. GF had no idea how it would perform.
Since it has performed well, they are likely working on a sequel currently in 2019. Even if development time is cut in half (let’s go took 2 years to develop) then the game won’t be finished until 2020
