>>37939817As far as I am aware, a new Switch model is coming out this year, the same year the first competitive Pokemon games on the Switch are set to be released. If those plans haven't been scrapped, I can't see this being other than a cheaper and smaller Switch model. The Switch's relatively high price compared to handhelds makes these games less accessible to children. But I am curious how this can be done when the Switch itself has a battery so big that it can't possibly be made into a smaller unit.
