Incineroar would probably be easier to tilt just close enough to some cat or even bear-like features with its anatomy. I could see them pushing it to just being a bulky cat with essentially bear-like legs or so. It looked surprisingly great in its Smash trailer, I could see them working and even improving from that baseline with how surprisingly good everything else looks so far.
Primarina has human hair and eyelashes, and its proportions trend too much into uncanny valley, especially those eyes, the ball clown nose, the weird snout length, the body being rubber tubes and upper limbs skinny as hell. People seem to downplay what a weird tube thing, cartoon Primarina is.
At least we agree Decidueye will not work in any real way.
