- Pokemon Sword and Shield has a really big map, no there is no open world but some parts of the map are large explorable.
- The main story is about a class between 2 teams that are from the 2 different Guilds (No evil Teams).
- The Gym Masters are just like Gyms but there are some small changes.
- The villains are from a sort of cult of mages and uses most Dark/Ghost/Psychic Pokemon for evil deeds.
- Your Rival is a Squire that want to protect his Kingdom.
- Meltan wil get a 3rd evolution and is used a lot in the story.
- New Legendary and Mythic are: Wyvern, Dragon, Snake, Tiger, 2 Wolfs and a Pegasus/Unicorn.
- 2 New eeveelutions that are Dragon and Steel.
- There are Armored forms for specific Pokemon's and there are alternative color Pokemon's like Shinies.
- No new Mega forms.
- There are 105 new Pokemon's.
- There will be no Kalos postgame.
