I'm enjoying it, too. I also like how the EXP Share & Battle Style settings are your difficulty sliders.
Easy Mode = EXP Share & Switch both on
Normal Mode = Only one of them on
Hard Mode = Set battle style with EXP share off.

I'm playing with my "hard" difficulty and it is legitimately challenging at times.

couldnt even get past the first island on release because it was literally the same game i'd been playing for a year. started a new playthrough a couple days ago for the first time since & I'm really enjoying it.
