I love Gen 2 and none of the criticisms you people make of it bother me. It's not even one of those "I acknowledge the flaws but enjoy thing in spite of them" situations, I genuinely don't feel that commonly cited flaws such as the Pokémon distribution detract from the game.

If there is one thing to be said about it, it’s that the absurd level curve made me enjoy the game even more. Even though it was annoying when I realized how underleveled my team was at Indigo Plateau and Mt. Silver, at least I didn’t have victories given to me on a silver platter. For what it was worth, I enjoyed the game and I appreciate your appreciation for it as well.

There are staunch haters of every generation so I don't really factor in what /vp/ thinks too much. Some of them get pretty autistic about looking for every little flaw and never think of the positives. I quite like gen 2 and the only one I would say I dislike strongly is gen 7.

That's your opinion.
The distribution is one thing but what pisses me off the most in Johto is all these underleved normal npc trainers that you just want to skip...it's not fun, I never had this problem in other Pokemon games.

You've already been debunked all the other times you've tried to make these points. There's no reason to play the johto games when Kanto is a better designed region and the pokemon aren't that different.

I adore gen 2. It's my favorite out of all the gens. I do wish I could get a Murkrow sooner. I also hate how they leveled Lance's pokemon down so much from the gen 1 games. I do have a couple of issues but I still thoroughly enjoy playing the games.
