That is what makes it fun. The goal isn't to be a plausible game, it is to stick as many jokes and bizarre things emulating the general shape of Pokemon as possible.

It was a waifumon joke, and a pizzagate joke. There's some other stuff in Clover that are just regular no-joke fakemons, so the pizza girls are at least more in service of the game than those are.
