>>37955291every pokemon is waifu or bara. you play as n and your rival is gladion. no special mechanics come back, in fact gen 8 is the most linear region to date. every gym is grass, the elite 4 is (just) your mom, and the champion is the technology fan from your hometown. you have to talk to 20 random non-plot related characters before challenging a gym, after which you have to watch a 5 minute unskippable cutscene. to catch the box mascots, or any legendary or mythical for that matter, you have to pay $10 monthly subscription fee, and you'll be given a loot box at the beginning of each month which has a 10% chance of having a rare pokemon, a 10% chance of having an uncommon pokemon with decent stats, and an 80% chance of having weedle.
also, you can't turn off experience share.
