Because they came from a different dimension, I expected them to look fucking weird and grotesque, almost Lovecraftian, but instead all we got was just ordinary looking Pokemon but slightly more bizarre. Only Xurkitree, Guzzlord, and Stakataka gave the feeling of "What in the fuck is this thing".
They also should've integrated them into the story of Gen 7 better, rather than just use one of the Ultra Beasts (The first one ever shown, by the way) with somehow worse Team Plasma.
